Adventurous Fall Family Photos at Tibble Fork, Utah

What's the best part of being an adventure and family photographer? It's got to be having the opportunity to photograph your friends! Or is taking my friend's photos so great because they're so great? I suppose either way I'm living the best life so I'll take it! Melissa asked about updating her family photos not too long ago and I think she had it booked for within a week! It is so good that we moved fast on this one because I just can't get over how so gorgeous these fall colors her in Utah are right now.

They picked Tibble Fork Reservoir for their location which is so beautiful and also so crowded for most of the year but especially in the fall. We went up there on a Wednesday and were able to get some great spots with amazing backgrounds. I would always recommend booking your photos in the middle of the week if you can, these will be the least busy days. There are some principles and characteristics that make a location good for taking photos and this means that a lot of photographers will be flocking to the same spots that meet these requirements and they can get very busy on the weekends!

It was so great to spend the evening with friends, to laugh and joke together. I loved not only seeing how absolutely amazing Wyatt, Melissa, and their kids all looked in their pictures (which they always do look so incredible!), but also talking and catching up on what we've been doing lately. I am becoming more and more of a recluse with time so taking people's photos has become my way of catching up with friends and then making new friends with my new clients, haha!

Melissa and Wyatt, you guys look so great in your pictures! Thank you so much for trusting me again with taking these photos for your family, I am honored every time. Also thank you for being such great friends and having so much fun with me at your session. I am so excited to share this sneak peek of your photos with you, they are so beautiful!
